JHW Paterson – Middle East / Pevensey River & Storage

Crightons have a long-standing relationship with the previous and current owners JHW Paterson for many of the properties west of Hay. James and the current management team have a close working relationship with Crightons who have built many of the existing pump stations and continue to maintain these sites.

Imagery above shows:
1. The Middle east 200 meg a day re-lift site built in 2022.

2. The Pevensey main river site expanded to except 3 additional 90 meg a day pumps with 2 installed in 2020. Crighton’s also partnered with the “Fluid Engineering” team fabricating and installing 1500NB delivery network below ground.

The scope of works for the Middle East Site included:

• Build and install 650NB & 500NB re-lift pumps
• Design and construct sheet pile retainer WALL
• Design fabricate and install associated pipework, sheds, pile driven footings, vac prime system.
• Complete all earthworks
• Commission site

The scope of works for the Pevensey Main River Site included:

• Crightons installed the initial 500NB line shaft drive mixed flow pump in 1990
• The site was expanded around 2020 for Kooba ag where Crightons supplied and installed 2 x 90 meg a day axial flow flood lifter pumps and expanded the existing station to integrate and have the two stations become one.
• Crightons designed and installed a custom spill way, plus installed compliant, bunded fuel system.
• All piling beam work and structures were certified and constructed.
• Compliant metering solution was incorporated and built.
