Amaretto Almonds developed a new almond plantation totalling approximately 567ha in 2019 on their Noraleigh property, located 5kms South of Tooleybuc on the New South Wales side of the Murray River.
The Noreleigh project involved a river pump station, rising mainline, filter station and an internal irrigation system. Crightons were engaged for the supply and installation of the Noraleigh river pump station to supply water to the newly constructed irrigation system.

The Murray river was the source of water for the river pumps and river stability required piles to be driven. As little as possible environmental impact was done during the pile driving exercise and no adverse effects were experienced by the river ecosystem.
Crightons worked closely with the Amaretto team and played a critical role in the success of this project. Crightons continue to maintain and upgrade Amaretto Almonds pump stations.
