Ross Hurst

Ross Hurst has grown up in our Crightons Engineering team, starting with us at the age of 16 as a fitter and machinist.

Ross’ willingness to develop his skillset has seen him gain extensive experience in Crightons, becoming a qualified fitter and turner, expert in heavy machinery operation and a skilled large scale project manager.

In recent years Ross has taken on a leadership role in Crightons Engineering with a focus on civil operations. Ross provides leadership and oversight broadly across the business and is also a member of the strategic “Leadership Group”. Ross also has involvement in design review, construction, commissioning, and project management.

Ross has proven his capacity as a team player and has to date not sacked his dad “Ginger” who started shortly after him. He is a key staff support person & a developing strategic asset for the Crighton’s team.
