About Us

The company has evolved over two generations with an extensive background in construction with many of the larger irrigation pumping facilities developed over the last 25 years within the region, designed fabricated & installed by our team and then maintained overhauled and upgraded as required.

The Crighton business philosophy is simple but proven “do it once & do it well".

Crighton’s have an extensive customer network from many industry sectors that utilize our workshop and field support services with policys and procedures that have seen us accepted to work at sites managed by major departmental bodies such as RMS (Roads and Maritine Services), Telstra, Public Works, State Water etc.

Crighton’s aim to offer a complete drawing board to field completion capacity. Our experience  has been in servicing not only Irrigation facilities but we have over the last 25 years serviced most municipal assets from primary river lifts, weirs, municipal ground water facilities, water storage reservoirs, town supply lines and service valves, aquatic centres, waste depots, filtered water facilities and top to bottom maintenance of sewer reticulation facilities.

Crighton's boast a well equipped fleet of field service vehicles and Mobile Cranes with truck mounted, articulated and all terrain machines.  The cranes are extensively used in construction works with pile driving and pile extraction capabilities. The workshop facilities include Lathes up to 1.8m swing, plate rolls to 10mmX 2.6m, sheet Guillotine to 10mm 3.0m capacity, plate benders to 6mm 3.0m capacity with an extensive welding fabrication experience that is utilised for structural and non ferrous works. The undercover workshop has  recently been expanded to beyond 1200 square meter capacity to more than match most major Engineering firms outside major centres.  

Crighton’s stock an extensive range of steel line pipe & large bore valves with a unique stocked range that meets most industry needs throughout regional NSW and beyond.  

Crighton’s have completed facility upgrades for many of the local municipal authorities with service capability that can accommodate in house pump and flow meter major overhauls and servicing needs. Water industry demands a capacity to allow minimal customer down time.

Crighton’s have an extensive range of overhauled and exchange components that allow support to our customers ensuring hasty turn around when required.

Crighton’s construction site capabilities include pile driving, confined space and height safety work, welding and hot works capacities, general crane and dogging work, dewatering and Aqua dam instillation works. Our fitter machinists are often utilised on site with their confined space training and equipment for service work and facility upgrades, pile driving and other general construction works.
